Product description

In case of recycling secondary material to new products, it has to be made sure that the new products are free of radioactive contaminations. In the same way it is important in case of burning rest material in a waste burning plant that no radioactive material is burnt, as large areas would be contaminated by radioactive exhaust air coming out of the chimney. For monitoring of these fields, high-sensitive radiation monitors have to be used.

To check the cargo of trucks, railway wagons or container systems for the presence of radioactive material, you need large-area, high-sensitive γ-plastic scintillation detectors.

As part of a dynamic measurement, vehicles are checked by 2 detector pillars located on each side of the passage. Our RAMBO system has established itself in the scrap and recycling sector, for security check at the entrance field of nuclear power plants and border control.
